Making the most out of the market

Looking for a menu made up from some of your favourite local produce from trusted suppliers within the Garstang area? Well at a fantastic £21.00, Pipers Restaurant has created just that with our delicious Market Menu.


Available Wednesday, Thursday and Friday evenings, the Market Menu combines the renowned Pipers quality with the best ingredients from markets and suppliers in and around Wyre.


This week has been another popular one for our Market Menu, with many customers opting for the three-course meal, in order to try a different selection of foods produced right on their doorstep.


The Market Menu changes daily and this week it has featured a variety of dishes including:


Starters


Potted hamhock, pineapple chutney and rustic bread
Fantail of gala melon, mango coulis, fresh fruits and lemon sorbet
Grilled halloumi cheese, beetroot and peashoot salad


Mains


Confit of salt marsh lamb en croute, medley of beans and vegetables, white truffle madeira sauce
Red Thai spiced haddock fillet, pea & coriander risotto, Parmesan dressing
Goosnargh chicken, country vegetables & mushrooms, pomme anna potato, port & Stilton sauce
Soft Leagrams goats cheese basket filled with Mediterranean vegetables, straw potatoes


Desserts


Warm chocolate mint pudding and ice cream
Strawberry parfait and shortbread biscuit
2 scoops Mrs Dowsons farmhouse ice cream


At only £21.00 for three courses and an early-bird option at £16.95 (between 6pm-6.45pm, Wednesday and Thursday only), there's no reason for you not pop along to Pipers soon and try the Market Menu for yourself!
