Welcome to the Pipers Restaurant blog!

Hello and welcome to the first blog post from Pipers Restaurant!


Now in it's fifth year, Pipers was opened by Head Chef Ian Piper (formerly the head chef at The Villa) and his wife Shelley. The food served is modern English in style with a focus on local produce with the majority of our suppliers located in and around Wyre. 


Pipers is situated on the main high street of the picturesque market town of Garstang, the world’s first Fair Trade town, and as such we strive to support this ethical stance by using fair trade produce wherever we can. From wine and suagr, to tea and coffee, we try and encorporate a variety of fair trade goods in our menus.





Open for bistro style lunches between Thursday and Saturday, we also offer great value three course lunches on Sundays. In the evenings we offer an a la carte menu which is supplemented midweek by a three course market menu with an early bird option.

As well as formal and casual dining, Pipers can also accommodate a range of events, such as birthday parties, christenings, funerals, staff events and buffets.
